Less than a week until Anna Schwartz performs the first movement of Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A Minor, op. 54.

Karen Warner will be recognized for 33 years of service as MCO Concertmaster at our March 19th concert. We touched base with Karen and asked her a few questions about her time with the MCO, some personal highlights and hobbies. Head on over to our Facebook page to read her answers!

We are really enjoying rehearsing Franz Liszt’s

The Mennonite Community Orchestra presents our annual spring concert, “The Power of Conversation”. This concert is brimming with exciting music. Some of the highlights include the Winnipeg premiere of Gade’s Symphony No. 3, Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody and the 1st movement of Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A Minor, with soloist Anna Schwartz on piano.

We had our first rehearsal of the season last night!! It was amazing to see so many musicians come out to play together again. Don’t miss our upcoming concert, “The Power of Love,” November 20th at 3:00pm at Lutheran Church of the Cross. Hope to see you there! 🎶
