Fall 2026 Concert: From the Wish List…
November 15, 2026 – 3:00 pm – NEW LOCATION – St. George’s Anglican Church
The Mennonite Community Orchestra presents our fall concert “From the Wish List…” on November 15th at 3 pm. The concert will showcase three pieces that have long been requested by members of the orchestra.
The program includes Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8 – the shortest of Beethoven’s nine symphonies, but also the lightest, filled with dynamic changes, articulation and musical ‘jokes’.
The orchestra will also perform the overture to La Forza Del Destini, an opera by Giuseppe Verdi. This piece, which establishes the main motifs of the opera, has become part of the standard orchestra repertoire.
Also on the program is Henryk Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 2, one of the most popular violin concertos of the Romantic era, and widely considered to be Wieniawski’s best work. This piece will feature Bella Rogers as soloist.
The Mennonite Community Orchestra’s “From the Wish List…” concert is on Sunday, November 15th at 3 pm at St. George’s Anglican Church, 168 Wilton Street.

Tickets: $20 for Adults, $10 for Students, 12 and under free when accompanied by an adult
