We had our first rehearsal of the season last night!! It was amazing to see so many musicians come out to play together again. Don’t miss our upcoming concert, “The Power of Love,” November 20th at 3:00pm at Lutheran Church of the Cross. Hope to see you there! 🎶

Our concert is happening TOMORROW at 3pm!! Tickets will be available to purchase at the door or you can email mcorchestrawpg@gmail.com to reserve them. In the meantime, here is a sneak peak of one of our pieces. Can you guess which composer it is?

Some of our orchestra members travel from far and wide to be a part of our Wednesday rehearsals! Two of those members are Colson and Kyla Wiebe, siblings who travel all the way from MacGregor to Winnipeg every week. They both play violin, but Colson also plays viola.

Our concert next weekend will feature a performance of Mozart’s “Prague” symphony, no. 38. But why was Prague significant to this work?

We’re so excited to announce our upcoming concert!! “Living on the Edge” is our spring concert that will feature works by Mozart, Gioachino Rossini, and Niccolò Paganini. The concert will also feature our very own Will Harder as soloist for Paganini’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in D Major. Hope to see you there!!
